As part of NIAF's "Past Scholarship and Grant Reunion," attendees
were invited to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum for a film presentation.
Dr. Maria Lombardo, NIAF Education Director introduced survivor Irme Rochlitz
and his filmmaker, son Joseph Rochlitz who related their story of rescue by
the Italians. Their film "Righteous Enemy" was presented during this
to the general public occasion at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. The film
highlighted rescue in Italian occupied territories, Greece, Yugoslavia, Albania,
and Vichy France.
