The
Jewish-Christian history of Italy was presented with special guest Robert
Loggia. Actor Robert Loggia discussed his film "Triumph of the
Spirit," which presented the treatment of Jews in Salonika, Greece.
Other survivors included Ginetta Sagan, co-founder of Amnesty International
and Zdenka
Levi of Yugoslavia. In addition to a presentation of the "Assissi
Underground" film which showed the falsification of papers for
Jews by Father Pacifici, a Passover Dinner was served in the framework
of Shalom Italia. Over 12 organizations collaborated in this successful
program which ended with a screening of the film, "A Debt to Honor."
