Keynote speaker was Dr. Maria Lombardo, NIAF Education Director addressed
the topic "Italy and the Holocaust," from the perspective of the daughter
of a Nazi slave labor camp survivor to high school students. High school students
had the opportunity to dialog on the moral lessons learned from rescuers and
how these lessons can impact their contemporary lives. As a follow-up students
wrote essays on the Holocaust.
