Amongst the conference highlights were presentations from Secretary
of Agriculture Glickman. Conference presenters included local TV broadcaster
Andrea Roane; survivors of Italy Ginetta Sagan, and Salvatore Lombardo;
Mayor Stefano Vaccari, representing survivors of Villa Emma in Nonantola
and U.S. Officer Albert Materazzi. The conference site Lincoln Theater
was adorned with a display of Walt Whitman High School Jean Diamond's
students' artistic impressions of the Holocaust. Over 18 U.S. Federal
Agencies worked together to commemorate the survivors of the Holocaust.
The handout was a publication "Risking All for Brotherhood"
by Dr. Maria Lombardo published by Italy/Italy Magazine in Rome, Italy.
