"The Italian Refuge"

"The Italian Refuge" a by-product of the conference Italians and Jews: Rescue and Aid During the Holocaust held at Boston University was the conference proceedings titled, "The Italian Refuge" and edited by Ivo Herzer. Dr. Maria Lombardo worked with Mr. Herzer to submit a proposal to the National Endowment for the Humanities in order to be able to conduct conferences nationally. The presenters attending the first conference submitted their papers, for which Lombardo was able to secure funding to publish their work.
