Giorgio Perlasca, who posed as an Italian diplomat in Budapest was able to falsify papers rescuing over 10,000 Jews from the Holocaust, was remembered. The conference included Sara Bloomfield, Stefanie Razzano, Ambassador Boris Bianchieri, Frank Guida, Ivo Herzer and Hon. Frank Guarini. A tour of the Museum included viewing the Italian plaque explaining the positive role of Italians in the rescue of Jews during WW II. His name was placed amongst the record of Righteous Gentiles in Israel.
