Perlasca, who posed as an Italian diplomat in Budapest was able to falsify papers
rescuing over 10,000 Jews from the Holocaust, was remembered. The conference
included Sara Bloomfield, Stefanie Razzano, Ambassador Boris Bianchieri, Frank
Guida, Ivo Herzer and Hon. Frank Guarini. A tour of the Museum included viewing
the Italian plaque explaining the positive role of Italians in the rescue of
Jews during WW II. His name was placed amongst the record of Righteous Gentiles
in Israel.
