Abraham Foxman, Director of the Anti-Defamation League was the keynote speaker.
This program included presentations by survivors of Lithuania and Poland, historians
and leaders from local Boston and Connecticut community organizations as well
as musicians who sang and played renditions from the Holocaust period. Researchers
presented the cruelty of Nazi doctors as they experimented on camp internees
in the name of medicine and its advancement. The audience encompassed many survivors
of Poland, Germany, Yugoslavia, and Italy who related their own personal stories.
A reception followed this event at Boston College.
